    Debbie Russo

As a Chicago native, Debbie was born with Crohn’s disease, a digestive disorder. She instantly fell in love with the practice of yoga over a decade ago when she stumbled into a yoga class and realized it was the only thing that relieved her illness. Since then, she has been an avid yoga practitioner.

Debbie started teaching senior yoga while owning an in-home senior care company. She continued to learn and teaches power yoga, hot yoga, restorative yoga, senior yoga, and yoga therapy. Debbie has completed her 200 & 500 RYT and now shares her passion as a yoga teacher trainer. She loves cueing to the body. She believes everybody should do yoga, and that knowing the benefits of each posture holds great value and contributes to the power of this therapeutic practice. Debbie encourages intuition, strength, and focus in her classes.

When Debbie is not teaching or practicing yoga, she enjoys spending time with her 5 children, family, and gardening.
